I don't like this one as much as the Animal Crackers one, mostly because I was told "We want this, and this, this guy here," etc. I also had really, really bad reference pics. But I think it's decent - I think my colouring on the skin was better here than on Animal Crackers. But just like in Animal Crackers, my favourite person that I drew on the poster is my cousin - in this one, he's the crazy guy staring at you with the wild hair.
Also like with Animal Crackers, I sold copies of these to the cast and made some money this time.
I think, upon looking back at it, my main problem was the theme. When they first told me what play they were doing, I only had very basic scraps of information on what it was about. I had never seen it, and didn't realise it was a comedy. I came up with a design, very Gorey-influenced. Then I went to see the play practice, and I rented the movie, and discovered I was completely off on the tone of the play. I tried to keep some of the elements, but I don't think it reflected the play all that well.
