I may have to miss a day this weekend due to MidSouthCon.

Watched the new Lady Gaga video Telephone last night, it was fun. Also went over to my aunt’s to watch Project Runway – wasn’t going to, since I was trying to get ready for the con, but at the last minute I decided to go on over. Was sad about who went home, really liked the winner & Seth Aaron’s dress.

So in a few minutes I have to get up and bolt out to my parent’s house, rummage through some bins, run back to work, then after work I need to run home, take a shower and get dressed and run to Midsouthcon. Whew.

Well its not so much waking up early, its having to get up and get ready to go immediately. When I’m putting my makeup on right after getting up, I start falling asleep at the mirror!

So I have to quickly post today. today is Aurora as Belle:

I tried it in blue, but it looked REALLY weird!

I found all of my Senatorial Leia stuff last night, still trying to find Hoth boot covers, though.

I made a new header. It’ll do for now.
You know, I enjoyed Marie Antoinette, but it’s not like fav. movie ever – but there’s something I like about having her as my blog header. I think it’s more that I like Marie Antoinette, as in the person.

Anyway, tonight I spent digging out costume pieces. Half of my costume stuff is still at my parent’s house. So trying to figure out what I have to wear is difficult.
I do have all of Wonder Woman, so long as Chase finishes my chestpiece and belt, and found everything for Snow White (though that was easy, it’s been out since Halloween. I was scared of crushing the collar so it’s just been hanging in the office ever since.)
Then the hard part – I decided to wear a Leia, and I wanted either ANH or Hoth. I didn’t find all of either. All I’m missing for Hoth is the boot covers, so I’m hoping I find hose tomorrow because I’d rather wear that.

Need to think about it… don’t know what to make, I’ve never good at making headers.

I’m on day 2 of beachbody Insanity. I’m doing the fit test everday this week til Chase can catch up with me.
Monday I couldn’t make it through it. I had to stop halfway through. I had to pause it 3 or 4 times and just sit.
Yesterday I made it through without pausing! I didn’t push myself as hard, when I got tired I stopped and took a drink of water, rested for a few secs and then started again.
I’m sore from it this morning, but I’m really happy with it so far. I’m hoping to be down 5lbs by our Anaheim trip in a month and a half.

Obviously I’m playing with a new layout. Haven’t finished it yet, but what do you think so far? y/n?

Just saw a boom mic go across the top of a screen in an old Friends episode.
But that’s not what this post about, I just saw it so I typed it LOL

Are dogs like people, when it comes to remembering things that made you sick once?
What I mean by that relates to this story:
When I was little, my grandparents came over one Sunday morning to pick me up and take me to church. Why they were taking me to church I have no idea, but whatever. So I had to get up early, get dressed up (yuck), and for the first time ever I was going to eat a Poptart for breakfast. Mom had gotten them for me just the day before.
Well I guess I wasn’t feeling well to start with. I ate the Poptart, then got in the car with my grandparents… and ralphed in their front seat (in a bag they had handy, luckily).
To this day I can’t eat a Poptart because it makes me think of that.
Same with Spaghetti-os.

So all the puking Indy has been doing? She finally got to go to the vet today. The vet told us, “whatever you’re doing, keep doing it” because she was the best looking 11 year old dog she’d seen. Couldn’t find a thing wrong with her. So she agreed it was probably just because her tummy couldn’t take the dry food anymore.
But since she threw up a couple of times while on the wet food, it made me think maybe it was because of chicken – the first time she had the throwing up stuff, it was from chicken. A different kind of chicken, yeah, but some of her cans of wet food recently were chicken.

Who knows! Probably not, she was probably just getting the dry stuff out of her system… but either way I’m not giving her the chicken ones anymore, to be on the safe side.

And since it was finally guessed? The new costume is Jane from Tarzan.

AND DADDY, HE TOOK MY BOOT!

I know it’s been done before, but I decided to draw each girl wearing another princesses’ main dress. I ended up doing two versions, one with the dress in the “normal” colour (ie, Belle’s dress on Aurora was yellow) but then did a second version that I thought was a little more fun (ie, Belle’s dress on Aurora was blue like Aurora’s dress). Does that make sense? LOL.
So first, Snow White stole Ariel’s dress…

Ok, well, I’m finally going to post a pic of the costume I’m working on. Ignore the junk in the back LOL. Can you guess what it is? I think it’s extremely obvious but who knows.

Today is Jasmine, based on an outfit from the Art of the Disney Princess book.

I’m starting to get worn out on the Disney Princesses. I have a few more to do, then I’m moving on to another set. Here’s what I still have planned to do for the Disney segment:
The “dress up” pics – I have 5 done, 4 more to finish.
Kida (I feel bad for leaving her out for so long. Just not my fav movie and I really remember nothing about it.)

I got up. Watched Discovery Health and finished a couple of new pics.
Fixed lunch – Mac and cheese and watched the last episode of Models of the Runway (so glad whats-her-face went home!)
Took a nap. Had weird dreams.
Curled my hair. I don’t know why.
Reorganized boxes in the prop room. I was able to unpack a few of them and throw some of the bigger boxes away. Found a bag that I thought was just junk – pens, bandaids, ticket stubs – so almost threw it away, but luckily dumped it out and discovered some of my “real” jewelry in the bottom (as in, not costume pieces, a couple of my good necklaces and a bracelet.) Glad I didn’t throw it away without looking!!
Cleaned up the paint stuff. Took a bath. Did a load of laundry.
After that I sewed. A lot! I finally tackled the pieces of the skirt I’ve been stuck on. I got it mostly figured out, put together, and trimmed. I need to put a zipper in, hem it, and put a waistband in.
I got the lining of the top put together but ran out of bobbin on the last piece, so I stopped and checked twitter, discovering I was missing Oscars red carpet. So now it’s dinner and tv time

And with this post, I’m caught up, I have nothing extra to post.

Well other than posting that I have nothing interesting to say!
Chase is going to be shooting a music fest all day long, so I’m going to do some artwork and sew. I’d also like to organize the boxes in the prop room again – I finished painting it yesterday.
