1. Where did you begin 2008? at home... I think, LOL I don't really remember!
2. What was your status by Valentines Day? Engaged with the big day sneaking up quickly
3. Were you in school anytime this year? No, which I'm thankful for
4. Did you have to go to the hospital? Yes, great-uncle was in the hospital a few months ago.
5. Did you have any encounters with the police? I don't think so...
6. Where did you go on vacation? Honeymoon in Mexico
7. What did you purchase that was over $100? Oh gosh... um lots of stuff. A lot of furniture, and I'm sure I spent over $100 on fabric at some point LOL
8. Did you know anybody who got married? ME LOL
9. Did you know anybody who passed away? Yes, my great uncle died.
10. Did you move anywhere? Yes, Chase and I moved into our place in June
11. What sporting events did you attend? Lots of Tiger basketball, and one hockey game
12. What concerts/shows did you go to? LOL we saw the cover band at our resort on the honeymoon, and we saw Ryan's band when they came through Memphis, and my dad's band several times. A few of my mom's plays. Does that cover everything?
13. Describe your birthday. Laid back. Chase and I went to Melting Pot and then we went out with my parents, and spockmonkey & her parents to Sekisui.
14. What is the ONE thing you thought you would not do, but did, in 2008? hmm. I really don't know.
15. What have been your favourite moments? the wedding... the honeymoon... Dragoncon... just various family memories over the year.
16. Any new additions to your family? No
17. What was your best month? May, I think
18. Who has been your best drinking buddy? ash & cath I guess LOL
19. Made new friends? Not really
20. Favorite Night out? Me & Cath and our stumbling around Dragoncon and finding the craziest things we could at Dcon saturday night... LOL

24. Have any car accidents? No, knock on wood
25. How old did you turn this year? Old enough not to say anymore

i know my blog is so exciting these days, considering I post nothing but memes and junk. So! Here's a holiday meme. :)
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? wrapping paper, all nicely wrapped with a bow - but not a bow that makes it hard to open the present! LOL
2. Real tree or Artificial? real tree. Even though the smell bothers my sinuses. But it wouldn't be the same without it.
3. When do you put up the tree? my mom always tried to put it off for foreeeever... but this year I think, hopefully, we'll be getting it this first or second weekend of december.
4. When do you take the tree down? again, my mom would take it down, sometimes the day after christmas. I think here was even one time she started taking it down christmas night. this year - after new year's.
5. Do you like eggnog? no!
6. Favorite gift received as a child? oh gosh... I really don't even know. I remember so many great things... usually I think my favourite memory of christmas gifts is that moment I would run into the living room and see it all set out and perfect. I would never know where to look first, it was so exciting!
7. Hardest person to buy for? chase, if he doesn't tell me exactly what he wants :\
8. Easiest person to buy for? Ashley because I can buy anything I myself would want and know she'd like it LOL
9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes, my grandmother made it back in the 60s. It was our family nativity scene my entire life and when I moved it my mom let me take it.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Neither...
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I've gotten a lot of weird stuff. I don't know what the "worst" would be though. I have had some stuff over the years that has gone straight into the goodwill bag.... but it's usually impersonal stuff from people who don't really know me, not from my family or friends.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? probably A Christmas Story... even though TBS or TNT whichever it is, they're kind-of ruining it by playing it so often, and in the summer no less!
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? I start thinking about it in October but usually don't start until end of November/early December
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Nope..
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? oh man... well for christmas it's always the same food my family makes for any get together and it's all so good... ham, turkey, mac and cheese, spaghetti, rolls, and other stuff. it's nice to have cookies on christmas eve too.
16. Lights on the tree? yep, we usually change them out, sometimes all different colours, sometimes white, sometimes one or two colours.
17. Favorite xmas song? Feliz Navidad!
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? travel all over the place
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Sometimes
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Star!
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? traditionally I open my presents with my parents on Christmas morning, and they usually give me one christmas eve. This year Chase and I are going to open our presents to each other Christmas eve night, and then Christmas morning to go to my parents for Christmas with them... so both I guess, now.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? The oversaturation... Target already had Christmas stuff up before Halloween. I know everybody loves this time of the year but come on people..
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? I don't really have a favourite, this year we're going with blue and silver for the tree though.
24. Favorite memory of Christmas? I don't know, we've done the same routine for so long they all tend to run together. I just like everybody being together, I guess.
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? nothing major. the usual stuff.
