Construction Notes: Everything underneath the poncho is my rebel uniform - except I replaced the pants. I'd wanted to replace the pants since the beginning, and this project finally forced me to do it. They are so much better! The poncho is actually my second. My first one that I loved was unfortunately destroyed (basically) about a week before the con. I had to run out, buy more fabric, and start over. It was just a big waste of time and very disappointing. But I got the second one finished and got enough dye on it that it was wearable. I'm still not 100% happy with the colour - I plan on re-dyeing it at a later date. Anyway, I made the poncho without a pattern. The belt was also new - Chase made the holster for me, and we picked up the gun on the RPF and just gave it a quick coat of black before the con. The base helmet is one of the WWII flying helmets - luckily I have a very small head and could fit one of the smaller sizes LOL. I added the pleated/ribbed section to the top. The donut came from Endor Bunker, Chase put it together, painted it and weathered it for me. I added the bill, though it needs to be fixed - it was constantly wanted to stick up on the left side the entire time!
